SNATCHED Final Feedback

We shared our video with many people aged 16&17 which is the prime age within our primary target audience. We think that this was a good way of collecting peoples feedback as it allows easy communication when understanding where we went wrong and where we succeeded. The feedback shows that our opening sequence was a great success.

Stabbing Sound Effects

My group and I decided to create our own stabbing sound effect to be used within our thriller. In the Video above Jessie attempted this however, we agreed that it did not sound like a stabbing noise and therefore it would not have been very effective to use in our opening sequence. Because of this, we downloaded this sound effect from a non copy right website and inserted it into our thriller.

Thriller Feedback

from reviewing this feedback, we decided to add more sound effects to our opening title sequence such as rain, thunder and lightning, by doing this we are enhancing the genre of our film. We also make the effect on the flashback scene to make it more subtle, so that our target audience could understand more and get the right idea.

Evil Laugh Auditions

After our shoot day, My group and I collectively decided that the evil laugh in which our actor did on the day sounded too artificial and did not give off the right effect. Because of this, we auditioned a handful of people for an evil laugh and decided to choose Mr Wood's laugh as it sounded the most confident and so therefore would be fitting to use in our thriller. We inserted his laugh into premiere pro where we then adjusted the pitch to make it fitting to the voice of our actor used.

Snatched Secondary Poster

We created our secondary poster also using photoshop, we did this by inserting a still image from our footage from which we recorded on the day and added text to it. We also downloaded the 15 rating badge from the internet and inserted it onto the poster. By creating this poster, we were therefore enabled to attract our secondary audience who are slightly older and are not massive fans of the thriller genre. As this poster contains no evidence of violence, it would therefore be appealing to them.

Snatched Primary Poster

We created our primary poster using Photoshop, we did this by using images of which we found on google and then used special tools to layer them and to cut around the shapes. By creating this poster, it will enable us to provide additional publicity and allows us to provide additional information and an insight into what the film will be like to our audience.

Below are the steps which were used to make the poster:
